Research

One of the main objectives of EVALICES is the integration of the research and advisory activity within the project. All members of the team are part of the IEO MERVEX Research group, which will be used as a platform to facilitate this integration.

• Promote the participation of EVALICES members in competitive national and international research projects.

• Carrying out internal workshops to homogenize the knowledge and methodologies applied to each of the stocks subject to evaluation, as well as the common analysis of the quality of the input data in the model and the uncertainties of the estimates. The participation of evaluation teams from other programs is desirable.

• Support for doctoral theses for training in evaluation of new researchers in evaluation. It is important to promote collaboration with mathematical teams from Universities or other centers.

• Promote collaboration with evaluators from other Programs, institutes, countries, etc.
